Save space and money

Flow control * Based on a test where PCs are used 10 hours a day and turned off for the remaining 14 hours, and are connected to the switch using 20m cables. Get a Gigabit network in your office for less than you imagine. Start with this 16-port 10/100/1000 switch and provide your colleagues with flexible and efficient Gigabit connectivity. Depending on the number of employees and to best structure your departments, opt for these switches which offer up to 24 Gigabit ports (DGS-1024D). The D-Link DGS-1016D Switch, a desktop switch with 16 10/100/1000Mbps ports that offers high performance in a device that allows us to save space and money. Another feature of this switch is that all ports automatically negotiate the MDI/MDIX (Up-Link) mode setting, eliminating the need for crossover cables. Standards The DGS-1016D Switch is compatible with IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T, 802.3u 100BASE-TX, 802.3ab 1000BASE-T and 803.3x flow control. This switch is equipped to auto-negotiate speeds at 10Mbps, 100Mbps and 1000Mbps. Flow control The DGS-1016D Switch, in Full-Duplex mode, protects users from potential data loss during network transmission. When connected to a LAN card (in a server or PC) that supports flow control, and when the data buffer is about to fill up, the switch sends a signal to the PC indicating this situation. Then, the PC delays transmission until the buffer is cleared and more information can be sent. D-Link Green energy saving technologies It incorporates new energy saving technologies. By detecting whether connected devices are on or off and by estimating the cable length, the switch is able to adjust its energy consumption, resulting in savings of up to 73%*.
