This switch is equipped to auto-negotiate speeds at 10Mbps, 100Mbps and 1000Mbps. Flow control The DGS-1016D Switch, in Full-Duplex mode, protects users from potential data loss during network transmission. When connected to a LAN card (in a server or PC) that supports flow control, and when the data buffer is about to fill up, the switch sends a signal to the PC indicating this situation. Then, the PC delays transmission until the buffer is cleared and more information can be sent. D-Link Green energy saving technologies It incorporates new energy saving technologies.
