Description
10 Gigabit Connectivity
Each switch in the series has four 10 GbE SFP+ ports, either for long-distance fiber uplinks (e.g. with D-Link DEM-431XT transceivers) or for copper (D-Link DEM-410T).
Advanced Features
The DGS-1250 range also supports advanced Layer 3 features like Static Routing, which allows you to segment your network into workgroups that communicate between VLANs. With this, you can reduce the load on your core devices, allowing you to create a scalable and efficient network.
Advanced Access Control
D-Link's innovative Safeguard Engine helps protect switches from traffic saturation caused by malicious attacks. A series of advanced security features, such as 802.1X port-based authentication, DHCP Server Screening, Access Control List (ACL), ARP spoofing, and IP-MAC Port Binding (Smart Binding) further help protect your network.
Video Surveillance Mode and Advanced QoS
The DGS-1250 series supports the optional web GUI Surveillance mode and AutoSurveillance VLAN and Auto Voice VLAN, which automatically identify and prioritize video and voice traffic. The web GUI Surveillance mode provides a web interface specifically designed for video surveillance, making it easier to access related functions and simplifying the management of IP camera and NVR networks.
Versatile Management
The DGS-1250 range can be managed via the web interface, the D-Link Network Assistant (DNA) utility, or via the dedicated console port with Full CLI support. In addition, the D-Link Network Assistant utility allows customers to easily discover multiple D-Link Smart managed switches within the same L2 network segment for simultaneous configuration and maintenance. Full Command Line Interface (CLI)1 support provides network engineers with more control and compatibility with the more generalized standard.
